Country Lodge

This motel is one of a kind. Wonderful owners(and their pit bulls) who seem very friendly, super sweet. My room was amazing. I love the all the old features and art work.

Very clean room, nice property outside with lots of flowers and grass which I appreciated. It was very convenient to be able to park in front of my room. Nice decor. Clean bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows. The pool and pool area look very nice. I can tell they put a lot of pride into caring for the property. There didn't seem to be much noise isolation between rooms or the outside. I could hear my adjacent neighbors even though they weren't being loud. My main concern was that the road noise was pretty noticeable -- starting very early in the morning and continuing to pretty late in the evening. Many of the rooms here face the main road in front of the motel. At night my room seemed a bit dim, but adequate, even with four lamps turned on. The bathroom / sink area was very well lit. During the daytime with the curtains open, there was a nice amount of natural light in the room. I was surprised to find a pretty comfortable recliner chair in the room which was a nice touch.

Clean well-maintained property that says ‘these owners care’ as you drive by….so we stopped in and found a fair price. Would rather patronize a small business motel. The towels are very soft. And the AC works great. Looove the covered porch on the front and back door of the room - back door faces a crystal clear pool.

Great lodging for our family of 7! We rented the largest room, which had a full kitchen and 3 bedrooms, plus a nice living room and dining room area. Pool was great for the kids! Grounds are very well kept. Room was very clean and well stocked, well laid out and enjoyable! Awesome location in Montrose to visit Black Canyon NP. Definitely would recommend.

The staff at country lodge were great. They were very friendly and helpful. The grounds looked nice, well kept and clean. Price was good. We liked the room very much. It was clean and usable. They have nice chairs so you don't just have beds to sit on. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. We've stayed in a couple of other places in Montrose but if we go there again this is the place we will always stay.

We had an excellent experience staying at the Country Lodge in Montrose. We needed a last minute place to stay and stayed in their 3 bedroom cabin. It was very clean, comfortable and very roomy. It exceeded our expectations. They lady at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend staying here! The rooms are very clean, comfy beds, and they have a pool & hot tub! Great location! Friendly staff. Good value. My husband has stayed here several times while going through town and always spoke highly of it. I happened to be with him this time and couldn't agree more. Very clean and cozy. Recommend! (Note I spend roughly 220+ nights in a hotel per year.)

We have been staying here for several years when motorcycling out of Montrose. Montrose is a great hub for multiple day trips in all directions. It is warming and feels like home when we return each evening. Well kept grounds, pool, hot tub and clean comfortable room and beds. One of my favorite period amenities is the builtin, pull down scales in the bathroom. Check it out. No other place to stay in Montrose if you want to feel truly welcome and back home. Love it here!
